“You guys are SIMPLY SENSATIONAL”
Phrase that marked an iconic and unforgettable moment in the lives of Hiago and Manu in Tibia.
Eloh Ark and Manu Ark are a couple who share their love for Tibia, he is an Elite Knight level 880+, she is an Elder Druid level 750+, both play on the Venebra server, optional green pvp.
Their love, chemistry and joy are contagious on and off screen; Hiago (Eloh) is 28 years old and Emanuela (Manu) is 24, they live in Araraquara, a city of Sao Paulo, Brazil and have been sharing their life together for 4 years.
Hiago was the one who started playing Tibia approximately 16 years ago, his friends showed him the game and some time later, when he was married to Manu, he showed the game to her in 2022.
Off screen, they both work in Digital Marketing, advertising, and they also share some hobbies together, such as body building, which is clearly reflected in their physiques.
“IN OUR FREE TIME WE LIKE TO GO TO THE GYM, WATCH ANIME AND TV SHOWS.”
Although Hiago and Manu were already a couple before playing together, Tibia was a small motivation that united them even more.
“ON THE GAME WE SPEND MUCH MORE TIME TOGETHER AND TODAY WE ARE EVEN MORE TOGETHER THAN BEFORE.”
At the beginning, only Hiago was the one who played Tibia because Manu was not very interested in it or perhaps she just needed a little time to like the game more and be able to share a new activity together.
HIAGO: “HIAGO: “AT THE LAUNCH OF A NEW SERVER I ASKED MANU TO WATCH MY CHARACTER WHILE I WAS TRAINING SKILLS AND WITH THAT SHE STARTED TO GET CLOSER LITTLE BY LITTLE AND FALL IN LOVE WITH THE GAME, MOUNTS, OUTFITS, ETC. TODAY SHE IS THE ONE WHO IS MORE IN LOVE WITH TIBIA THAN ME HAHAHA!”
Their story together in Tibia begins on August 1, 2022 and they currently play for approximately 6 to 7 hours a day as they dedicate themselves to Streaming on the Twitch platform. It all started when both were going through a difficult period of depression and found a refuge in gaming that gave them a little joy at that time.
“WE DECIDED TO START MAKING A STREAM TO MAKE FRIENDS AND MAINLY HELP THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION OR HAVE DIFFICULTY MAKING FRIENDS IN LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GAME. SINCE THEN WE HAVE MET MANY FRIENDS AND WE FELL IN LOVE WITH STREAMING, NOWADAYS WE STILL WORRY AND TAKE CARE OF THAT TYPE OF AUDIENCE.”
Currently their main content is Tibia, although sometimes they usually play some other games and they intend to add new content this year such as WOW, League of Legends or something that they can play with the people in the chat and have a little more interaction with the public that watch them every day.
“WHAT WE ENJOY MOST ABOUT STREAMS IS MEETING PEOPLE, TALKING, DOING LIVES WITH COSPLAYS, BIRTHDAYS AND THE INTERACTION WITH THE VIEWERS.”
And thanks to those streams, many of their adventures have been recorded, Hiago and Manu have many funny anecdotes in the game, mainly from streaming and being in contact with their viewers.
“AMONGST SOME OF THOSE MOMENTS WE REMEMBER ONE TIME WE WERE LIVE AND THE DANCE CHALLENGE STARTED, THIS CONSIST OF STOPPING THE HUNT AND DANCING A CHOREOGRAPHY. WE STOP THE HUNT IN BANUTA IN A SUPPOSED SAFE PLACE BUT WE NEVER IMAGINED THAT A NIGHTMARE WOULD TARGET MANU FROM A FAR AND KILL HER WHILE WE WERE PERFORMING THE CHALLENGE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DANCE WE SAW THE SCREEN AND WE RAN BUT IT WAS TOO LATE HAHAHA.”
Without a doubt, Tibia is a journey in which you live through a number of moments that over time become stories to tell, from deaths, arguments, challenges and the occasional surprises that marks you permanently.
And of course! At the beginning there were accidental deaths because let's remember that when they started playing together Manu was new in Tibia.
“WHEN MANU WAS LEARNING TO PLAY, BEING NEW, SHE ONCE FORGOT TO CONFIGURE THE EXURA SIO AND AT THE MOMENT SHE DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER THAT SHE ALSO HAD THE BIG EXURA MAS RES HAHAHA. BUT IT'S PART OF LEARNING, TODAY THAT NO LONGER HAPPENS, BUT WE BOTH GET ANGRY AND SAD WHEN WE DIE HAHAHA.”
For both of them, playing Tibia together has been a symbol of unity, they have known how to separate their real lives from the game very well; There is no space for uncomfortable or annoying moments because they share the same objectives and when a problem appears, they discuss it in the moment to fix it because they are clear that Tibia is just a game and they don’t let it influence beyond that.
HIAGO: “FOR ME, PLAYING TOGETHER HAS MADE ME IMPROVE MUCH MORE AS A PLAYER, I LEARNED TO ENJOY THE GAME MUCH MORE. AND THE BEST OF ALL IS PLAYING WITH SOMEONE YOU TRUST OUTSIDE OF THE GAME”
MANU: “FOR ME IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PLEASURE TO SPEND HOURS WITH MY HUSBAND, SO AFTER STARTING TO PLAY WE ARE MUCH MORE COMPANIONS AND FRIENDS, I ADMIRE HIM A LOT AS A PLAYER AND I LOVE HAVING THAT CONFIDENCE INSIDE AND OUT OF THE GAME.”
They both enjoy learning and having new challenges, whether it's entering new hunt areas or defeating new bosses; Among their goals are reaching the long-dreamed-of level 1000 and exploring the most difficult hunting areas of the game.
An unforgettable moment in their Tibian's life was the surprising acquisition of the Ferumbras' Hats, it is without a doubt the most memorable story in their journey in the game.
“A GREAT FRIEND OF OURS (KNOWN IN THE COMMUNITY AS FIH) HAD PROMISED US THAT HE WOULD GIVE US NOT ONE, BUT TWO FERUMBRAS' HATS FOR CHRISTMAS 2023. WE TOOK IT AS A JOKE AND WE DIDN’T BELIEVED HIM BUT ON 06/24, 2023 WE RECEIVED A CALL TO GO TO THE FIH HOUSE IN THE GAME, IN FRONT OF THE THAIS DEPOT. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE SAW SEVERAL KNOWN PEOPLE, FRIENDS OF OUR LIVES, ALL WAITING FOR US. THEN HE PUT TWO LETTERS AND TWO GIFTS TO US ON THE FLOOR, INSIDE EACH BOX WAS A FERUMBRAS' HAT. THAT EMOTION AND FEELING... WE CAN FEEL IT TO THIS DAY. IT WAS AN UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT, WITHOUT A DOUBT. OUR FRIENDS STRENGTHENED US A LOT ON THIS TIBIAN JOURNEY AND WE HAVE A LOT TO BE THANKFUL FOR THAT.”
Without a doubt Hiago and Manu are two people who have known how to create an environment full of harmony and unforgettable anecdotes, both inside and outside the game they radiate an impressive chemistry sharing it with everyone who is watching their Twitch lives.
